Work with the Ontario Forage Council this summer! Thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs Program, we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to help us with events, administrative tasks, and some content creation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with spreadsheets, good at research, familiar with Microsoft 365, and can work independently, as well as part of a team. Video-editing skills and familiarity with Canva are a bonus.
OFC provides leadership, education, collaboration, and advocacy for the Ontario forage industry. A background in agriculture is not necessary for this position. In this position you’ll gain experience with event planning, marketing, networking, and more.

-Location: Grey Ag Services, 206 Toronto St S, Markdale, ON
-This position is hybrid. One day per week is required in the office in Markdale.
-Wage: $20/hr for 35 hours per week
-Anticipated start date is June 1, 2026
-This is an 8-week position
-A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required
Eligibility for Canada Summer Jobs:
-Must be between 15–30 years old at the start of employment
-Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
-Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status
-International students are not eligible
The Executive Assistant will report to OFC’s General Manager, but will be hired by Grey Ag Services, the organization that manages OFC staffing.
